Search VTED

The Virginia Tech Expertise Database contains information about the research interests and accomplishments of faculty members who are available to respond to queries from business, industry, government, and media representatives.

You can search by name or topic, or browse all. You may also restrict your search results to a specific department or college within the University.

A successful search will provide the names, contact information, and research descriptions of one or more faculty members. In some cases, there will be links to faculty members' home pages and additional information.

Choose a Search Method:

  • TOPIC if you are looking for an expert in a particular field.
  • NAME  if you already know the last name of an expert at Virginia Tech.
  • BROWSE ALL to browse through experts by last name. You will also be able to limit your list by department/college.
