Research Focus
My research at Virginia Tech will focus on automatic food processing using Multiphysics simulation and machine learning models. The work aims to achieve real-time optimization of processing operation conditions and propose 'best practices' across the entire production line, replacing human decision-making with advanced algorithms. This research aligns with the Food Industry Revolution 4.0, aiming for smart manufacturing to achieve effective, efficient, and sustainable food processing operations.

Why did you choose to pursue postdoctoral training at Virginia Tech?
I chose Virginia Tech for my postdoctoral training due to its outstanding reputation in engineering research and the opportunity to collaborate with both academic and industry leaders, applying research discoveries to real-world production. The university's cutting-edge facilities and strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research align perfectly with my research interests, making it an ideal place for my development as a researcher.

What are you most looking forward to as you begin in this fellowship at Virginia Tech?
I'm looking forward to immersing myself in a new environment, expanding my skills, and collaborating with the local industry. The opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in such a dynamic setting is incredibly exciting to me.
