Responsibilities

Emmanuel joined the Human Research Protection Program in August 2024. He will serve as a protocol coordinator reviewing human subjects research and assisting researchers with the regulatory requirements of human subjects research.

Background

Emmanuel came to Virginia Tech from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where he started as a research assistant and was promoted to a clinical research coordinator in the rheumatology/immunology department. He was responsible for recruiting and enrolling participant, daily management for clinical research activities, and supporting activities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Education

Emmanuel has a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from the University of Akron.
