Nonfinancial Compliance
The principal investigator is responsible for fulfilling whatever technical reporting requirements the sponsor sets.
Please note the award schedule and due dates for these reports. In the past, sponsors have held up funds while awaiting technical reports required by their awards.
The Office of Sponsored Programs is responsible for preparing and submitting standard fiscal and administrative reports the sponsor requires.
Please be aware that many sponsors will not make final payments on awards until they have received the principal investigator's final technical report. Be sure to review the award document carefully, and issue the final technical report as soon as possible after the award requirements and provisions are completed.
